Collection: Walid Jahin
Born in Sharkya, Egypt 1974, he received PhD in 2010. Jahin exhibited his magical series of paintings in Egypt and abroad. Jahin’s art depicts a unique subjective view of societal, environmental and sociological occurrences; enriched by both his personal poetic viewpoints and his solid academic background.
The female form is a concurrent theme within Jahin’s work as he aims to portray the woman as sacred, elevating her into another realm without limitations. He wishes to show women free, beautiful, emphasizing the overall importance of women.
Walid Jahin creates his gigantesque masterpieces using a variety of materials, the main medium however is paint, both oil and acrylic, though some of the pieces feature collaged elements using tiny bits of silver and gold leaves on canvas.
